Our Philosophy
The barn should be a soul building place of peace and hard work. We work to provide our horses with the best nutrition and daily care available. Our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of both the horses and riders. We strive to always keep current with developing trends on nutrition and exercise programs, so that our horses remain in top shape throughout the year. Not only do we have an excellent riding program, that is focused on developing riders, but we also keep the atmosphere fun and friendly.
It is not uncommon for us to have summer barn parties, and to hang out and just enjoy the summer. We have a small show program, where we take clients to shows, we encourage outside clinicians to come up and work with the students, so they get a fresh perspective. The goal is to continually develop correct fundamentals of riding, having a positive attitude towards horses and people, and to encourage growth and development in all areas of horsemanship. My influences include Elenore Elstone with Dressage, Jeff Cook, with Jumping, and Jim Briggs with cross country instruction. It is not uncommon for us to bring outside instructors up to keep our education program current.
”What´s interesting in this sport is to become a horseman / horsewoman. Not winning the ribbons.” -George Morris
